Wonderful Life
(Black)
Black is the musical vehicle for British singer-songwriter Colin Vearncombe, born 1962 in Liverpool, England.
1985 was a gloomy year for Vearncombe, causing him to write this ironically entitled minor key song "Wonderful Life". Released independently at first, this track got Black noticed by A&M Records who signed Vearncombe and launched his international career. The song is taken from the album of the same name, and on it's second release (Thru A&M Records) became a top ten hit in the UK, Switzerland, Germany, France, Austria and Italy.
